Advertising Terms & Conditions

Please agree the booking and this terms version with us in writing before payment, including when you use the QR code or direct link.

1. Publisher and definitions

Alvau LLC, 1270 Avenue of the Americas, floor 8, New York, NY 10020 US, operates JLuxu.com (the Publisher, we). Contact: editorial@jluxu.com. The Advertiser is the business buying advertising; an Agency is its authorized representative. A Booking is our written advertising agreement, including any insertion order. Creative means the supplied advertising material. Placement means the agreed display location or format; Campaign Period means the agreed start and end of delivery.

2. Business customers and authority

This flow is intended for purchases in the course of business. Identify the contracting business and the representative authorized to bind it. An Agency must disclose its principal and authority; its own payment obligations must be stated in the Booking. Business status does not by itself remove mandatory protections, including any applying to sole traders. If you purchase outside your trade or profession, contact us before ordering or paying: we must establish the appropriate consumer terms, information and withdrawal process before accepting that order.

3. Written agreement and acceptance

A binding Booking requires our written confirmation and your explicit written acceptance of the identified terms version and Booking. An enquiry, invoice or payment alone does not approve Creative. Before sending payment instructions, we require acceptance by email or signed insertion order, identifying the business, representative, invoice/Booking reference, terms version and date. This also applies to QR and direct-link payments. A browser checkbox or payment receipt is not our acceptance record.

4. What the Booking must specify

The Booking states format, location/category, languages, Campaign Period and timezone, deliverables, price, taxes, payment due date, Creative deadline and any production work or reporting. No price, ad size, audience quantity or permanent placement is implied. A measurable guarantee exists only if expressly specified with its measurement method and underdelivery remedy. Changes to these details require mutual written agreement.

5. Invoices and payment

Pay the invoiced total in USD by the agreed due date, using the exact invoice number in PayPal’s invoice field. If the field or correct amount is unavailable, contact us before paying. Partial or incorrect payments do not amend the Booking; we will arrange correction and return a verified duplicate or overpayment as appropriate. We verify cleared funds and reconcile payments manually before confirming their status. A PayPal receipt does not replace our invoice. Taxes follow the lawful invoice treatment, with no assumed exemption or extra shipping charge for advertising. No automatic renewal or recurring charge is authorized by this one-off flow.

6. Creative, deadlines and changes

Supply the agreed file format, accurate destination links and approval materials by the written deadline. We review suitability and can request substantiation or correction. Notify us promptly of errors or proposed changes. Advertiser delay may require a mutually agreed revised schedule or reasonable, previously agreed costs; it does not automatically justify charging for all undelivered service. Keep a copy of your materials. Additional production or revisions require prior written scope and price approval.

7. Lawful advertising and permissions

You are responsible for truthful, supportable claims and lawful advertised products, services and landing pages. Obtain necessary intellectual-property, privacy, publicity, trademark, image, music and testimonial permissions and any sector licenses. No misleading, discriminatory, unlawful, infringing or malicious content, fabricated endorsements or harmful code is permitted. Publisher approval does not replace your responsibilities, and does not excuse our own unlawful conduct.

8. Limited rights and editorial independence

You retain your rights in supplied Creative. You grant a non-exclusive license to publish, distribute and technically adapt it only as necessary for the agreed campaign, through relevant service providers, and retain restricted evidence needed for performance or claims. New commercial reuse requires agreement. Rights in separately commissioned production must be agreed in writing. We retain editorial judgment. Advertising must be labeled clearly, including “Advertisement” or “Sponsored content”; paid links use rel="sponsored" or another suitable permitted combination. Payment does not buy favorable reviews, hidden endorsement or guaranteed search rankings.

9. Cancellation after publication: business bookings

Where you purchase advertising in the course of your business, you expressly agree that, once your advertisement is first published on JLuxu.com in accordance with the agreed Booking, you may not cancel or withdraw from that Booking solely because you change your mind. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, amounts paid for an advertising placement are non-refundable following publication. The agreed publication period and other deliverables remain due from the Publisher. This provision does not exclude remedies for our failure to provide the agreed service, duplicate or unauthorized payments, or any right or refund that cannot lawfully be excluded. Any rights available through PayPal, your payment provider or applicable law remain subject to their own rules. First publication is not full performance of an ongoing campaign.

10. Cancellation before publication

Send written cancellation to editorial@jluxu.com identifying the Booking; retain proof and ask for acknowledgment. Before first publication, we refund the prepaid undelivered service after deducting only reasonable, documented production work or unavoidable reservation costs expressly agreed in advance and lawfully recoverable. We mitigate avoidable loss and explain any deduction. Specific non-cancellable production must have been separately identified and accepted before work began. No blanket penalty or automatic forfeiture of the whole fee applies.

11. Rejection, suspension and nonperformance

We may reject or suspend material reasonably considered unlawful, misleading, infringing, unsafe or technically harmful. Where practicable, we explain the concern and allow correction; urgent removal may precede notice. Rejection alone does not entitle us to keep payment for undelivered service. If we reject a prepaid advertisement, never publish it, materially shorten its period or miss agreed guaranteed delivery, we offer timely correction or a mutually agreed replacement/extension, proportionate price adjustment or refund appropriate to the undelivered service. A replacement is not imposed unilaterally. Mandatory and breach remedies remain available.

12. Duration, availability and reporting

We owe the agreed Campaign Period and deliverables, not uninterrupted or permanent worldwide access. Reasonable maintenance or technical incidents may occur; material disruption is addressed under the preceding section. No sales, enquiries, conversions, audience demographics, clicks or return on investment are guaranteed unless expressly measured and agreed in the Booking. Publication confirmation and any agreed reports are provided through the agreed contact route; no advertiser dashboard or undisclosed tracking is promised. Notify us promptly of a problem so it can be investigated, without losing mandatory rights merely by delay.

13. PayPal and payment questions

PayPal processes checkout under its own applicable terms; methods depend on country, device and eligibility. We do not collect card numbers, CVV or PayPal passwords. For help, write to editorial@jluxu.com with the invoice number, placement and PayPal transaction reference, if available. Never email payment credentials. An opened form, return URL or screenshot is not confirmation of settled payment. We investigate disputed, duplicate or unauthorized charges. These conditions neither prohibit lawful chargebacks nor determine PayPal or card-provider dispute outcomes.

14. Privacy, tracking and confidentiality

Contact, billing, acceptance, invoice and transaction data are handled as described in our Privacy policy and Cookies and external media notice. The PayPal form starts loading automatically on the Advertising page and may involve provider-controlled cookies, as explained in our Cookies and external media notice. No advertiser pixel, tag, profiling or other ad technology may be added without advance written review, a lawful basis and any required consent. No reader-data sale, audience-sharing arrangement or analytics access is granted by this Booking. Each party protects confidential business information, except lawful disclosure to necessary advisers, providers, authorities or claim participants.

15. Third-party claims

You are responsible for reasonable, evidenced third-party losses and costs to the extent caused by your unlawful supplied material, lack of permissions or breach. We must give prompt notice and reasonable cooperation, allow a reasonable opportunity to participate in the defense, and not agree a settlement imposing obligations on you without consent. You do not indemnify our own fraud, deliberate misconduct, negligence or liability that law cannot transfer. Each party must mitigate its loss.

16. Liability

Subject to mandatory law, each party’s aggregate contractual liability for an affected business Booking is limited to the fees paid or payable for that Booking; neither party is liable for indirect or consequential losses to the extent law permits. This limitation does not reduce payment due for delivered services, our refund or corrective obligations, or responsibility for fraud, deliberate misconduct, gross negligence, death/personal injury caused by negligence, or any liability or remedy that cannot lawfully be limited. The preceding section’s responsibility for third-party claims is subject to these limits and exceptions. No promise of complete exclusion of liability is made.

17. Events beyond reasonable control

A party affected by an event beyond its reasonable control must give practicable notice, mitigate the effects and seek a workable rescheduling. Excuse applies only to the extent performance is prevented; it does not turn undelivered advertising into delivered service. If material performance cannot reasonably be restored, either party may end the affected part by written notice, with a proportionate adjustment or refund for undelivered service and only lawful, previously agreed costs retained.

18. Law, complaints and courts

New York State law governs these advertising contracts to the extent a lawful choice is effective, reflecting the Publisher’s stated business address. Mandatory protections and applicable conflict-of-law rules prevail. Please first send a complaint to our advertising contact to seek resolution; this does not suspend legal time limits or prevent urgent relief, provider disputes, regulator complaints or proceedings before a competent court. We impose no exclusive forum, compulsory arbitration or waiver of non-excludable remedies.

19. Version, notices and precedence

Version 1.0, prepared 16 October 2026. It applies to a Booking when made available by Alvau LLC and expressly accepted for that Booking; preparation is not evidence of an earlier public launch. Keep the accepted text with the Booking. Later changes apply prospectively, and do not vary an agreed campaign without consent. Notices may be sent to editorial@jluxu.com and the customer contact in the Booking; important notices should be acknowledged and supported by delivery evidence. Individually agreed written Booking terms prevail over these general conditions where expressly stated, subject always to mandatory rights.

20. Remaining provisions and language

An unenforceable provision is limited or severed as law requires without invalidating the remainder. No delay in enforcing a right automatically waives it. No partnership or authority to bind the other party is created. The English text is the master version; translations assist understanding, while mandatory local-language protections prevail. These conditions concern advertising services and do not replace the separate terms of an external marketplace purchase.
